BRTA’s drive against unfit vehicles underway

The Bangladesh Road Transport Authority on Monday launched drives against unfit and faulty vehicles in different parts of the capital.

The drives are being conducted against unfit vehicles and to raise awareness among city dwellers about road safety, said the official.

Unfit vehicles were being fined by the mobile courts in the presence of BRTA officials, he added.

Meanwhile, road, transport and bridges minister Obaidul Quader visited the spot at Manik Mia Avenue.
