JOF seeks president’s appointment

The Jatiya Oikya Front has sought an appointment of president Abdul Hamid for a meeting with a 10-member delegation of the front led by Dr Kamal Hossain to discuss on the upcoming general election.

A letter seeking appointment was sent to Bangabhaban on December 13. The letter signed by Bangladesh Nationalist Party chairperson Khaleda Zia’s private secretary ABM Abdus Sattar sought appoint of the president for a 10-member delegation of the Oikya Front for December 17.

BNP chief media wing member Sayrul Kabir Khan said the party secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will also be on the delegation.
