BSF kills Bangladeshi pouring kerosene into mouth

A 32-year-old Bangladesh national died in Satkhira border early Saturday after Indian Border Security Force had reportedly tortured him and poured kerosene into his mouth. 
The victim, Kabirul Islam, of Chhaygharia village under sadar upazila was tortured inside India and was kept near the village in Kushkhali border area, the family said. 
Kabirul’s uncle Faruk Hossain said that his nephew went to India and was caught when he was returning after buying tea and other goods. 
Faruk said that BSF personnel tortured Kabirul and poured kerosene into his mouth and left him near border in the night when he fell sick.
Kabirul died at the district hospital at about mid night, Faruk said..
Kushkhali union council chairman Shafikul Islam Shyamol said that they came to know that Kabirul went to India where he was tortured by BSF personnel. 
Satkhira police station officer-in-charge Mustafizur Rahman said that 
the body bore marks of injuries but medical examination could confirm if kerosene was poured into his mouth.
The Border Guard Bangladesh 33 battalion commanding officer Lieutenant Colonel Golam Mohiuddin Khandker said that a critically injured Bangladesh national died on the way to the district hospital but it was not confirmed whether he was tortured by BSF personnel.
He said that BSF denied the allegation, but they invited BSF officials to a flag meeting on Sunday to discuss the matter.
