Manna detained

Detective branch of Dhaka Metropolitan police on early Tuesday detained Nagarik Oikya convener Mahmudur Rahman Manna from a Banani house in the city, alleged his family members. The detention came after the controversial phone conservation between Manna and BNP leader Sadeque Hossain Khoka was leaked. Manna was arrested at around 3:00am and taken to the DB office at Mintu road. Police source said that a sedition charge might be launched against Manna.
