Four killed in Narayanganj road mishap

At least four people were killed and another one injured as a truck plunged into a roadside ditch near Acharia Char Primary School at Sonargaon in Narayanganj early Wednesday.

The identities of the victims could not be known immediately.

Sub-inspector Latif Mia of Sonargaon police station said the truck plunged into the roadside ditch near Acharia Char Primary School at Sonargaon around 4:00 as its driver lost control over the steering on Iqbal Road, leaving the four dead on the spot. 

Later, locals rushed the injured to the Sonargaon upazila health complex.

Police recovered the bodies.
