WRONG LANE DRIVING RDC div secy’s vehicle caught in police net for second day

Traffic department of Dhaka Metropolitan Police on Monday again filed a case against a vehicle carrying Rural Development and Co-operatives Division secretary-in-charge Mafruha Sultana for the second consecutive day for wrong lane driving at Banglamotors crossing in the capital. 
The first case was filed against the driver of the same vehicle on Sunday on Hare Road for the same offence. 
DMP operated the drive between 5:00pm and 7:00pm at the crossing in presence of DMP additional commissioner (traffic) Mosleh Uddin Ahmed. 
The vehicle, with the secretary-in-charge on board, was coming from the direction of Hotel Continental on the wrong side, said police. 
Mosleh Uddin Ahmed told New Age that cases were filed against drivers of the secretary-in-charge, a vehicle of Criminal Investigation Department and six motorcycles for wrong lane driving. 
A motorcycle had been sent to the dumping station, he informed. 
On Sunday, they had filed more than 300 cases for wrong lane driving across the capital, he added. 
DMP on Sunday filed a total of 26 cases against the drivers of 26 government vehicles on Hare Road.
The vehicles were carrying state minister for social welfare Nuruzzaman Ahmed, lawmaker for Narsingdi 2 Kamrul Asraf Khan, secretaries, joint secretaries, deputy secretaries, police, army, fire service and Dhaka University staff.
