25 Bangladeshis among dead in US-Bangla crash

Co-pilot Prithula Rashid is among 25 Bangladeshi nationals dead in the US-Bangla airlines plane crash in Kathmandu on Monday.
State minister for foreign affairs Shahriar Alam confirmed the matter in his Facebook page, revealing the identities of 36 Bangladeshi nationals, who included four crews. 
Pilot of the flight, Abib Sultan, was rescued alive and had been undergoing treatment, said the state minister. 
A crew member remained alive, though he could not be reached yet, he said. 
Earlier, foreign ministry in a statement said, twenty-two persons, including 9 Bangladeshis, have been rescued alive and taken to hospital. Some of them are critically injured.
Officials said there were 71 people on board the US-Bangla Airlines turboprop plane from Dhaka when it crashed just east of the runway and skidded into a nearby football field.
Officials in Nepal said a total of 49 people have died in the incident.
