Gulshan café attack accused extremist held

A team of Rapid Action Battalion has arrested a charge-sheeted accused of the case filed over Gulshan Holey Artisan Bakery attack in 20016.

The arrestee is Md Mammunur Rashid alias Ripon alias Rezaul Karim alias Reza, a member of the banned extremist outfit Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh who is accused for key arms and explosive supplier and financer of Gulshan café attack, said a text message sent by the battalion.

The team arrested the JMB leader from Gazipur along with Tk 1.5 lakh on Saturday night, the message said.
