Flight operations at Ctg, Cox’s Bazar, Barishal airports suspended

Authorities suspended flight operations  of Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar and Barishal airports from 3:00pm on Monday due to the inclement weather for the impact of cyclone Sitrang.

The suspension will initially be continued until 12:00 noon on Tuesday, officials said.

Chattogram Shah Amanat International Airport director Wing Commander Farhad Hossain Khan said that operations of all the domestic and international flights would remain suspended due to the impact of cyclone Sitrang.

Officials at Barishal airport and Cox’s Bazar Airport manager Golam Mortaza Hossain said that they suspended flight operations initially until 12:00 noon on Tuesday and further decisions would be taken by observing the situation.
