The prices of fish increased in the capital’s kitchen markets over the week ending Friday. Traders said that the demand for fish rose in the city after Eid-ul-Azha as Muslim consumers diverted their choice to fish from meat.

Police said at least four crude bombs were exploded as thousands of Shia Muslims gathered at Hussaini Dalan to bring out a procession marking the mourning day of Ashura at about 1:45am on Saturday.
