Ziaul Haque Zia (11 March 1953 – 4 November 2016) was a Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) politician and former Member of Parliament representing Lakshmipur-1 constituency. He served as a State Minister for the Local Government, Rural Development and Co-operatives during 2001–2006.
Zia started his career in Rupali Bank. He was the General Secretary of the Officers Association of Rupali Bank and the Secretary General of the Bank Employees Federation. He joined Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) in 1986.
Zia was elected Member of Parliament from Laxmipur-1 constituency three times as a Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) candidate.
Zia passed away on 4th November 2016 at Bumrungrad International Hospital in Bangkok. He has been suffering from Colon cancer for a long time.
