Khondkar Ibrahim Khaled (04 July 1941 – 24 February 2021) was a Bangladeshi Prominent Economist, Banker and Former Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank. He had headed Bangladesh Krishi Bank as Chairman and Managing Director. He had served in Sonali, Agrani and Pubali banks as well.

Khaled was born in a Gopalganj district. He holds a Masters in Geography from Dhaka University and an MBA from IBA. He has been associated with the banking system at the age of 23 in the year 1963. He was the Managing Director of Bangladesh Krishi Bank from 1994 to 1995, Agrani Bank in 1996 and Sonali Bank in 1997. Later he was the Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank from 1996 to 2000. From 2000 to 2006, he was the Managing Director of Pubali Bank. He has been serving as an Independent Director on the Board of Directors of Pubali Bank Limited since December 9, 2020 to till death.

Khaled was much known for his courageous voice against on-going irregularities, corruption and malpractices in the banking sector. He headed an investigation on the stock market collapse of 2010-2011. He was associated with the banking system of Bangladesh for nearly six decades.

Khaled also served in PKSF as General Manager and developed and implemented a viable system of micro financing which has been acclaimed at home and abroad. He has been engaged in different professional organizations.

Ibrahim Khaled was admitted to Bangladesh Specialised Hospital in early February 2021 after he was tested positive for COVID-19. He suffered from other physical ailments after recovering from the COVID-19 illness. He was shifted to BSMMU on Feb 21. He tested negative for the coronavirus later, but suffered from old-age complications. He breathed his last at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University on Wednesday, 24 February 2021.
