Kazi Md. Anwar Hossain (1955 – 03 March 2017) is a Bangladeshi politician,freedom fighter, businessman and former Member of Parliament represented Brahmanbaria-5(Nabinagar) constituency. He was elected to parliament from Brahmanbaria-5 as a Jatiya Party candidate in 1986, 1988 and 1991.In 2001, he was nominated by the Bangladesh Jatiya Party of the four-party alliance and was re-elected as a Member of Parliament.

Hossain was born in the village of Jashatua in Nabinagar upazila of Brahmanbaria. His father's name was Kazi Arfan Uddin. He took part in the mass uprising of 1969 and the great war of independence in 1971. In his student life he was a supporter of Bangladesh Chhatra League. He graduated from New Model Degree College in 1974.

Hossain joined the Merchant Navy, Hellenic, Park Avenue, New York in 1976 as a third officer (deck) and left for the United States. He returned to the country in 1979 and started a business. He joined the Jatiya Party in 1986 and was elected a Member of Parliament from Brahmanbaria-5 (Nabinagar) constituency. After being elected Member of Parliament from the Jatiya Party in stages in 1988 and 1991, he became the Vice Chairman of the Jatiya Party. In 2001, he was nominated by the Bangladesh Jatiya Party of the four-party alliance and was re-elected as a Member of Parliament. At that time he was a presidium member of Bangladesh Jatiya Party.

Hossain joined the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) in 2006 joined and became a member of the party's central executive committee. He lost the 2008 elections as a candidate from the BNP. After the BNP council in 2016, he was appointed as an advisor to the BNP chairperson.

Hossain died on 03 March 2017 at the Apollo Hospital in Dhaka. He was 84 years old at the time of his death.
