Mashiur Rahman Ranga (born 22 July 1958) is a Bangladeshi politician, Opposition Chief Whip of Parliament, former state minister and incumbentMember of Parliament representingRangpur-1 constituency. He was elected as a Member of Parliament from Jatiya Party in 2001, 2014 and 2018. In 2014 he was the State Minister of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives. From December 2018 to July 2020 he served as a Secretary General of Jatiya Party (Ershad).
Ranga was born at Dakshin Guptapara in Sadar upazila of Rangpur district. He has a B.Com degree in education. After completing his studies, he joined the transport business. He is the president of 'Bangladesh Road Transport Association', an association of transport owners.
Ranga is serving as the president of Rangpur Mahanagar Jatiya Party.
