Ahsanullah Master (09 November 1950 – 07 May 2004) was a Bangladeshi politician, school teacher, trade union leader and former member of parliament represented Gazipur-2 (Gazipur Sadar-Tongi) constituency. He was a notable trade union leader who was assassinated in May 2004. He was awarded Independence Award in 2021 posthumously.

Ahsanullah was born in Hyderabad village of Pubail union in the then Dhaka district (now Gazipur). He passed SSC in 1965 and was admitted in the then Quaid-e-Azam College (now Shaheed Suhrawardy Government College) in class XI. After graduating in 1970, he joined MA Mazd Mia High School in Noagaon, Tongi as a teacher. He later served as the Assistant Headmaster (1977-1984) and Headmaster (1984-2004) of the school till his death. Ahsanullah was active as the president of Master Tongi Teachers Association. During 1983–1988, he led the Pubail Union Parishad in the Gazipur District. He later served as the chairman of Gazipur Upazila Council.

Ahsanulla got involved in politics in 1962 by joining the student movement against Hamudur Rahman Education Commission. He was an active worker of Chhatra League. Ahsanullah took an active part in the movement while the students were on the streets demanding the six-point movement for the emancipation of Bengalis declared by Bangabandhu in 1966. He was also active in the 11-point movement in 1969. Ahsanullah responded to Bangabandhu's call in 1971 and participated in the war of liberation. Before going to the war of liberation, he was detained and tortured by the Pakistani Army. On 19 March 1971, he played a significant role in mobilizing the masses to barricade the Pakistani Army from Dhaka to disarm the Bengali troops in the Joydebpur Cantonment. He took guerrilla training from Tandua in Dehradun, India and took part in guerrilla warfare in various places including Pubail, Tongi and Chaydana.

Ahsanullah Master was a central leader of Bangladesh Awami League and a Member of Parliament from Gazipur-2 (Gazipur Sadar-Tongi) constituency twice in 1996 and 2001. He has been the acting president of the Jatiyo Sromik League. Earlier, he was the general secretary of the organization. Besides, he was the chairman of Bangladesh Institute of Labor Studies (BILS).

Ahsanullah shot dead at a rally at MA Mazid Mia High School ground in Tongi on May 7, 2004 by criminals.
