A K M Shahjahan Kamal (01 January 1945 - 30 September 2023) was a Bangladeshi politician, former minister, freedom fighter, businessman and Member of Parliament representing Laxmipur-3 constituency. In the 2014 Bangladeshi general election he was elected from the Lakshmipur-3 seat and become a Minister of Civil Aviation and Tourism. He was one of the directors of Janata Bank Limited.
Kamal was born at Atiatali in Laxmipur. His father's name was Farid Ahmed and his mother's name was Mashuma Khatun. He passed SSC from Laxmipur Model High School in 1963, HSC from Chaumuhani Madan Mohan College in 1965 and obtained BA degree from the same college. He then enrolled in Dhaka University in MA class and also in law department. While studying at Dhaka University, he actively participated in the 6-point uprising of 1966 and the mass uprising of 1969. During this time he played an active role in the highway movement demanding the release of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman from the Agartala conspiracy case. In 1972, he was elected general secretary of the newly formed Laxmipur district Awami League. In 1985 he was elected president of Laxmipur district Awami League.
In 2009 Kamal served as a member of the Board of Directors of Janata Bank and in 2011, he served as the administrator of Laxmipur District Council. On 3 January 2018, he took charge of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism and held this position until 6 January 2019.
Kamal died at Evercare Hospital in Dhaka, on 30 September 2023, at the age of 73.
