Kazi Salimul Haque Kamal (known as Kazi Kamal) (born 16 August 1951) is a Bangladeshi prominent businessman, politician and former Member of Parliament represented Magura-2 constituency. He was first elected as a parliament member in the by-election in 1994 after the death of Advocate Md. Asaduzzaman, an Awami League parliament member. He was re-elected to the 6th National Assembly in 15 February 1996 and was last elected Member of Parliament in the 8th National Assembly in 2001.
Kamal was born in Dhaka. His paternal home is in Magura district. His father’s name was late Kazi Akramul Haque. He graduated MBA from Dhaka University.
Kamal is the founder of GQ Group of Industries, a manufacturing based organization in Bangladesh. He is a prominent industrialist of this country. He is a member of Bangladesh-China Friendship Association. He was awarded the IBA Alumni of Dhaka University for his outstanding contribution in the field of industry. He also has a role in spreading education. He established Kazi Salima Haque Women's College and Kazi Salima Haque Secondary School in his area. Kamal is involved in various social activities. He is the founder of Kazi Akramul Haque Welfare Trust and Dhaka Reynolds Center and General Hospital.
On 10 August 2016, Kamal resigned from the executive committee of BNP over the inclusion of Nitai Roy Chowdhury in the committee. He has been imprisoned since February 2018 for a 10-year sentence in the Zia Charitable Trust corruption case.
