Mozammel Haque (1955 – 12 January 2023) is a Bangladeshi politician and former Member of Parliament represented Natore-4 (Gurdaspur-Baraigram) Constituency. He was elected Member of Parliament in 2001 election.
Haque was born in Gurdaspur upazila of Natore District.
Haque participated in parliamentary elections as a candidate of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) in the fifth election of 1991 and the seventh election of 1996 and was defeated by a margin of about 5 thousand votes. He was elected Member of Parliament from Natore-4 (Gurdaspur-Baraigram) constituency in 2001 Eighth National Assembly Election as a candidate of BNP. He was the president of Gurdaspur upazila branch of Bangladesh Nationalist Party. Later he served as a member of the Central Committee of BNP.
After being elected MP, Haque established various institutions including schools, colleges, madrasas in the area. Apart from this, he has implemented extensive development work in Gurdaspur and Baraigram upazilas including the development of various roads.
Haque contested the 2008 parliamentary elections as a candidate of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party but was defeated by Md. Abdul Quddus of the Awami League. He boycotted the 2014 elections and Md. Abdul Quddus was elected unopposed from Natore-4 seat. He was an alternate candidate of Bangladesh Nationalist Party from Natore-4 constituency in 2018 general election. Abdul Aziz, Chairman of Gurdaspur Upazila, was nominated instead of him in the said election, who was also defeated by Md. Abdul Quddus.
Haque died on January 12, 2023 at his residence in Gurdaspur.
