Dr. Nazmul Ahsan Kalimullah (born 1 February 1961) is the Vice Chancellor of Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR) a man of many more capabilities. He is a professor of Public Administration of University of Dhaka. He was the Pro-vice Chancellor of Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP). He was the former Chairman (2006-2009) of the Department of Public Administration of University of Dhaka. He is a Resource Person and former Director–in–Charge (2009. 2011) of Japan Study Center, University of Dhaka. He is the, founder & Chairman of Jatiya Nirbachon Parjabekkhon Parishad (JANIPOP – National Election Observation Council), which become the leading poll monitoring body in Bangladesh. He was the Editor–in–Charge of The Asian Age & Vice President of Alliance Francaise de Dhaka. Now he is the Advisory Editor of The Daily Deshkal and Board Member of Alliance Francaise der Dhaka.

For his significant contribution in Domestic and International Election Observation, Dr. Kalimullah was awarded Atish Dipankar Gold Medal in 2007 and Legislative Fellowship of USA State Department in 2011. As an international election observer he has monitored elections in USA, UK Sri Lanka, Mozambique, Zambia, Naigeria, Egypt, Nepal, Pakistan, Hong Kong (especially administered zone of the People’s Republic of China) & Democratic Republic of Timor Leste.
