Abdul Matin Khasru (12 February 1950 – 14 April 2021) was a Bangladeshi politician and lawyer. He was the Member of Parliament of Comilla-5 constituency, having first held the seat between 1991 and 2001. Although he lost the seat to Md. Yunus in the 2001 general election, he regained it in the December 2008 general election. He served in the first Hasina’s cabinet as Minister of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs from 1997 to 2001. He brought remarkable legal and judicial reform including the repeal of Indemnity Ordinance and thereby facilitating the trial of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman muder case, while he acted as the Law Minister.
Khasru joined in the Bangladesh Chatra League in 1966 (Students front of Bangladesh Awami League) and participated in the National liberation War in 1971 as a Freedom Fighter.
Khasru was elected chairman of the executive committee of the Bangladesh Bar Council in 2015. He was made the law secretary of Bangladesh Awami League Central Committee during 2009 -2016 ie, for the last 2 (two) terms and became a member of the party's Presidium in 2017.
Khasru also served as a Member Parliamentary standing Committee for the Ministry of Disaster management and relief in the 5th Parliament of Bangladesh (1991-1995).
Khasru died on 14 April 2021 after contracting COVID-19. He was under treatment at the Combined Military Hospital.
