Dhaka Central Jail’s prison guard electrocuted

A prison guard of Dhaka Central Jail was electrocuted on Thursday morning. The victim was Ratan Khan, 33, son of Ali Azam Khan. Other detail could not be known immediately. Ratan touched an exposed live wire while he was sun drying his clothes after taking his shower at around 9:00am, said Nayan Sheikh, another prison guard of the jail. He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital where the duty doctors declared him dead, our correspondent reported.
