Sramik League leader, wife, 2 daughters killed in Mymensingh

Miscreants killed a local Sramik League leader, his wife and two daughters in Bhaluka upazila of Mymensingh, the United News of Bangladesh reports.Police recovered 4 bodies this morning.Shafiqul Islam Bachchu, the victim, was the general secretary of Habirbari union unit of Sramik League.The officer-in-charge (investigation) of Bhaluka police station, Abdul Quader Miah, said they found the bodies of Bachchu and his wife lying in a pool of blood beneath their bed. Bodies of two children were also found nearby. The mouths of their two daughters – one aged around 5 years and the other 2 years – were found tied with clothes.Police suspected that the couple was hacked to death while the infants were strangled sometime on Monday night.
