Kader continues sit-in, says getting positive response.
Krishok Sramik Janata League president Abdul Kader Siddique passed the 15th day of his indefinite sit-in in front of his party’s central office at Motijheel in the capital on Wednesday. Valiant freedom fighter Kader and his party leaders and activists started the sit-in demanding dialogue to resolve the current political crisis. He called on Bangladesh Nationalist Party chairperson Khaleda Zia to stop anarchy and arsons in the name of blockade and hartal. He also requested prime minister Sheikh Hasina to take steps for holding dialogue to resolve the current political crisis immediately. On the day, Kader held his party’s central committee meeting at the office and after the meeting he told New Age that he was getting positive feedback from all walks of society to continue the programme.
People were eager for an end to the crisis though dialogue, Kader said.
