Israelis to vote in key election

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu faces a challenge from a centre-left alliance that has promised to repair ties with the Palestinians and the international community.Neither side is expected to get more than a quarter of the votes.Candidates from both parties spent Monday making one last appeal to voters.

Polls open at 07:00 (05:00 GMT) and close at 22:00.
