BSF shot 2 Bangladeshis dead at Benapole

Indian Border Security Force on early Saturday gunned down two Bangladeshis on Putkhali frontier of Benapole in Jessore.The victims were identified as Shanto, 40, son of Abu Hanif and Aku Mia, 29, son of Anisur Rahman of Putkhali, said Lieutenant Colonel Jahangir Hossain, commanding officer of 26 Border Guard Battalion.BSF men fired at the duo around 5:30am. Shanto died on the spot and Aku Mia died after taking to Nabharan Hospital. Shanto’s body was found in Bangladesh territory.BGB were preparing to send a letter asking for a flag meeting with BSF over the matter.
