The prime minister, Sheikh Hasina, on Sunday greeted Bangladesh Nationalist Party chairperson and former prime minister Khaleda Zia on the occasion of Bangla Naba Barsha 1422. The Prime Minister’s Office sources said on behalf of the prime minister, her protocol officer Khurshid Alam handed over Naba Barsha greetings cards for Khaleda Zia to her office staff Md Jashim Uddin at 5:15pm. The prime minister has also sent the Naba Barsha greetings cards to the leader of opposition Raushan Ershad and the Jatiya Party chairman HM Ershad on the occasion. On behalf of Rawshan Ershad, her assistant personal secretary Sujaul Islam received the PM’s greetings card at 3:50pm while on behalf of HM Ershad, his personal secretary Saidul Islam received the card from the PM’s protocol officer at 3:55pm.
