Khaleda summons standing committee meeting Thursday night

Bangladesh Nationalist Party chairperson Khaleda Zia has summoned a meeting of the party’s standing committee Thursday night.

The meeting was summoned mainly to discuss organisational matters before Khaleda Zia’s departure to London expected on Saturday, the party leaders said.

The standing committee meeting would be held at Khaleda’s Gulshan office at 9:00pm, said Shamsuddin Dider, BNP chairperson’s press wing member.
