Three smugglers held with 9.33kg gold in city

Members of Detective Branch of police arrested three members of a gold smuggling gang along with 9.33 kilograms of gold at Airport road in the city Wednesday night.

Identities of the arrested persons could not be known immediately.

Tipped-off, a team of DB police (north) conducted a drive in the area and arrested the trio along with a car and the consignment of gold, read a text sent by DB police on Thursday morning.
