Salah Uddin calls wife from Assam!

Bangladesh Nationalist Party leader Salah Uddin Ahmed called his wife from a location of Assam in India.Our correspondent talked to Hasina Ahmed, the spouse of Salah Uddin, who confirmed the news to New Age this afternoon.Today’s development followed remarks of the party chairperson Khaleda Zia who said on Sunday—in a statement—that two months had passed since ‘the law enforcement agencies picked up Salah Uddin.’ She said the leader had been untraced and that the government was taking no steps to find him out.
