Fisheries minister Sayedul Hoque’s first janaza held

The first namaz-e-janaza of fisheries and livestock minister Muhammed Sayedul Hoque was held at the South Plaza of Jatiya Sangsad in Dhaka at 10:20am on Sunday.

Later, his body will be taken to his constituency in Nasirnagar of Brahmanbaria by a helicopter where his second namaz-e-janaza will be held at Ashutosh Pilot High School ground around 11:00am.

He will be buried at his family graveyard at village Purbabhagh following another namaz-e-janaza after zuhr prayers, said public relations officer of the fisheries and livestock ministry Shah Alam Badshah.

Sayedul Hoque, also a liberation war organiser, breathed his last at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University on Saturday.

He was made the fisheries and livestock minister after Awami League formed the government in 2014.
