American Airlines suspended all departures from Boston tomorrow because of strong winds and heavy snow.
“Based on airport conditions, American will resume limited arrivals in the evening once the weather has cleared," the airline said in a statement. "The resumption of operations will be dependent on airport, public transit and roadway conditions."
The airline also canceled some flights to Boston this evening.
Forecasters say eastern Massachusetts could get 1 to 2 inches of snow per hour with near-blizzard conditions.

Senate will not vote tomorrow because of the winter storm
From CNN's Ted Barrett
The Senate will not vote tomorrow because of a major winter storm that is expected to barrel down on the East Coast, according to Wyoming Sen. John Barrasso.
GOP Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell was expected to make an official scheduling announcement on the floor, according to his office.
The Senate will likely remain in session, but won't conduct any roll call votes so lawmakers can leave because of the storm.
