Two siblings held with 1 lakh Yaba tablets in Ctg

The Rapid Action Battalion arrested two siblings along with 1 lakh Yaba tablets from Pahartali area of the port city early Wednesday.
The arrested were identified as MdMobarak, 36, and his brother Md Salman, 23, sons of late Hazi Mohammad Eshak of BGB Camp (Mobaraker Bari) area of Cox's Bazar Sadarupazila.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of RAB-7 conducted a drive at AK Khan intersection around 12:10am and arrested the duo along with the Yaba pills, worth of Tk 5 crore, a cheque for Tk 70,000 and Tk 25,090 in cash, said MimtanurRahman, assistant director (media) of the elite force.
