Bangladesh beat West Indies by innings and 184 runs

Off-spinner Mehedi Hasan claimed record 12 wickets in the match as Bangladesh defeated West Indies by an innings and 184 runs to win the two-Test series 2-0 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka on Sunday.
Mehedi finished with 7-58 and 5-59 in first and second innings respectively helping the home side bowl out West Indies for 111 and 213 runs for their first ever win by an innings margin.
Mehedi’s exploits is the best bowling figure by a Bangladeshi in a Test match, surpassing his own record of 12-159 against England in 2016.
Shimron Hetmyer hit 93 off 92 balls with nine sixes and a four provide some entertainment but it was too little an effort to avoid the defeat inside three days.
Bangladesh, who made 508 runs in their only innings, won the first Test by 64 runs in Chittagong.
The West Indies will also play three one-day internationals and three Twenty20 internationals against Bangladesh during their month-long tour.
