Gono Forum changes tone on taking oath
Gono Forum, a component of opposition alliance Jatiya Oikya Front, on Sunday changed its tone about taking oath by its two lawmakers-elect in the 11th Jatiya Sangsad election as it said on Saturday the party was positive about taking the oath.
Gono Forum general secretary Mostafa Mohsin Montu after a meeting of the Oikya Front on Sunday told journalists that Gono Forum president did not say about taking oath by the party’s two candidates.

‘My own idea we will take a positive decision,’ Kamal told the reporters after an extended meeting of the party’s central committee at Shishu Kalyan Parishad Auditorium in Dhaka.
After the day’s meeting of Oikya Front, JSD president ASM Abdur Rob told the reporters that none of the front lawmakers-elect would take oath.
The day’s meeting was held Kamal’s office at Motijheel in Dhaka and was attended by Bangladesh Nationalist Party secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Mahmudur Rahman Manna of Nagorik Oikya and Abdul Kader Siddique of Krishak Sramik Janata League.
