Balloting at three centres in Cumilla suspended

Balloting was suspended at three polling stations in Titas upazila of Cumilla after miscreants tried to occupy the centres on Sunday morning.

The centres are Daskandi, Bhitikandi, and Banderampur government primary schools.

Upazila nirbahi officer Rasheda Akhter announced the suspension but did not say when balloting might resume.

Voting in the fourth phase upazila election started at 8:00am and would continue till 4:00pm without any break.
