‘Extremist den’ cordoned off in Dhaka

Members of Rapid Action Battalion cordoned off a corrugated sheet roofed house at Basila in Mohammadpur area of the capital on early Monday, suspecting it to be an extrimist den.

Acting on secret information, a team of the RAB cordoned off the house named Metro Housing, at Bosila at around 3:30am, said director of RAB’s Legal and Media Wing Mufti Mahmud Khan.

He said that sounds of gunshots were heard from the house around 4:45am.
