Biman MD removed
Biman Bangladesh Airlines managing director AM Mosaddique Ahmed was removed on Tuesday.
Biman board of directors decided to remove him on Tuesday, civil aviation and tourism secretary Mohibul Haque told reporters.
The secretary said that Biman director (flight operations) Farhat Hasan Jamil would do Mosaddique’s job until a new MD and CEO was appointed.
The board made the decision after finding irregularities including in appointing pilots.
Mosaddique submitted his resignation letter to the Biman’s chairman at the time of the meeting of board of directors.
