DMP commissioner Asaduzzaman to continue until Sep 13

Dhaka Metropolitan Police commissioner Md Asaduzzaman Mia, who was scheduled for Wednesday to go on post-retirement leave, was appointed on Tuesday as the metropolitan police commissioner for one more month on contract.

According to a gazette notification issued by the public administration ministry, the appointment was given on condition of cancelation of his post-retirement leave PRL and he would hold the office from August 14 to September 13.
