GM Quader JP chair, Rowshan JS opposition leader

Jatiya Party has decided that GM Quader will be the party’s chairperson and HM Ershad’s wife Rowshan Ershad will be the opposition leader in the parliament.

The decision came from a meeting of the party on Saturday night, said JP secretary general Moshiur Rahman Ranga on Sunday at the party’s Banani headquarters in Dhaka.

Decision on Ershad’s Rangpur 3 by-polls would be taken after a meeting of the standing committee members, he added.
