BCL leader ousted from SM hall by fellows
A Dhaka University Chhatra League leader was reportedly ousted from his Salimullah Muslim Hall room allotted by the hall administration by his fellows in the ruling Awami League-backed student body early Sunday.
Sources said, university Chhatra League assistant secretary SM Bappy was ousted from his room 179 of the hall and his belongings were also thrown out from the room by a group of Chhatra League leaders and activists led by hall union vice-president Kamal Hossain
Bappy said he, along with his belongings, was ousted from his room at about 1:30am on Sunday.
Kamal Hossain denied the allegation and claimed that he was outside Dhaka.
Hall provost Mahbubul Alam could not be reached over mobile phone despite repeated attempts.
Resident teacher Sabbir Ahmed, however, admitted the fact and said that they were helpless.
