Completion of Nusrat murder case a milestone: law minister

The investigation and the completion of judicial process of the Nusrat murder case has become a milestone.

Law, justice and parliamentary affairs minister Anisul Huq said this while addressing the UCB public parliament grand finale and award giving ceremony held at Bangladesh Film Development Corporation in the capital on December 1, said a press release on Monday.

The minister also said they were trying to modernise the Evident Act.  

The event was presided over by Hasan Ahmed Chowdhury Kiron, chairman of debate for democracy.

The Eden College and Dhaka College were declared joint-champion of the national debate competition on anti-repression while the University of South Asia was runner up.
