BNP leader Sanaullah Mia dies
Bangladesh Nationalist Party law affairs secretary Sanaullah Mia died at a hospital in the capital on Friday evening.
Supreme Court lawyer Sanaullah Mia died at Ganasasthya Nagar Hospital at capital’s Dhanmondi around 9:00pm, the hospital’s public relation staff Farhad told New Age.
He said that the BNP leader had been suffering from pneumonia and kidney diseases, and lung infection. He was admitted to the hospital on Thursday. He suffered a stroke on January 3, 2019 and received treatment abroad.
Sanaullah was also a lawyer of the party chairperson Khaleda Zia. BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir expressed deep shock at his death and expressed condolence to the bereaved family.
