BSMMU professor infected with coronavirus, colleagues quarantined
Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University professor Shahidullah Shikder has been infected with novel coronavirus.
BSMMU vice-chancellor Kanak Kanti Barua confirmed the news.
He said that Shahidullah, chairman of skin department and former pro-vice-chancellor, tested positive for the novel coronavirus on Thursday. Shahidullah’s department has been disinfected and others who have come to his contact have been quarantined.
Shahidullah was on the campus on Thursday before he tested positive and he distributed masks among his colleagues said a number of doctors at the university hospital.
