BGB arrests man with 1.16 kg gold in Benapole

Border Guard Bangladesh detained a man along with 1.16 kilograms gold worth Tk 80 lakh at Amrakhali under Benapole port police station.

Lieutenant Colonel Selim Reza, commanding officer, 49 Border Guard Battalion told New Age that a BGB team, led by habilder Nurul Islam, arrested Abdul Wahab, 40 of Chhoto Anchra under Benapole port police station from an easy-bike around 4:00pm Tuesday.

Wahab was arrested while he was going to smuggle 10 pieces of gold bars to India.
