The financial minister will place the national budget in parliament tomorrow for the next fiscal year 2021-22. As soon as the budget will rise, it urged to send all respective ministries to confirm whether they will be able to implement the allocation or not.

The guests discussed the budget gap of the previous year in Tritiyo Matra yesterday.

The guests admitted that our government maintained traditional allocation in each budget because there is no place of accountability. This year the budget should be reform and revised after discussing with other ministries as well.

Former President of Bangladesh Chamber of Industries and former Director of FBCCI, Shahedul Islam Helal said, government should insure security and health of all businessmen. In this budget, the government should allocate funds for traders to survive and return to their previous state.

He also requested the government to create awareness among people to buy local products as import is banned due to covid crisis. Plastic industry can discourage importing plastic made products as we are producing it in our country.

The business organizations who are doing social activity requested not to charge tax for their social work. At the same time, the imposing tax to import raw material needs to be reduced this year.

However, while businessmen tried to import and export oil, the container rent charged almost double in this crisis moment. Government should work to reduce charges for oil import and export.

Muhammad Abdul, Former chairman of the National Board of Revenue (NBR) said, in this budget government should invest more money to improve health and education sector. Decentralization is another important thing to focus on in this crisis moment.

He also addressed that our laws need to be strict against corruption.
