Post covid society will be more dangerous

The situation after recovering from the pandemic will be more terrible for the government which addressed at Tritiyo matra yesterday.   

One of the navigators, Hosne Ara Begum,TMSS executive director and Professor said, people avoid visiting others' houses due to covid. This practice will decrease Sincerity and morality among them. Corona will increase inequality in society as well.

At the same time, she said, ‘‘Bangladesh will see a grim picture of poverty.”

To minimize this problem, Government should ensure the incentive package to poor people. According to Hosne Ara Begum, “poor people are already expressing dissatisfaction with the government. They have expressed, ``We haven't received any money from the government yet.”

The number of infected patients by the Indian variant is increasing alarmingly in different districts of Bangladesh. However, the variant of Vietnam which is even more terrifying. It is a big question, whether specific vaccine will be able to repel new variant, said by another navigator, Prof. Nazmul Ahsan Kalimullah, Vice-Chancellor of Begum Rokeya University.

He also emphasized to take effective action to save the education sector after recovery from covid. To balance this situation, the education sector needs to be more digitized where online classes should be outstretched after a pandemic as well.  

Government should take initiative to open colleges and universities. On the other hand, social distance is creating distance of mind as well. This is creating psychological problems in children. As a result, various kinds of brutal activities are also taking place in the house among teenagers, said by Hosne Ara Begum.
