Pori Moni’s statement against Nasir to be verified

The Dhaka Metropolitan Police’s additional commissioner Hafiz Akhter said on Thursday that they were verifying the allegations placed by actress Pori Moni.

He told a press conference that they were still interrogating businessman Nasir U Mahmud and others who were in police custody for interrogation.

Asked about Pori Moni’s improper attitude in All Community Club, he said they were investigating the matter.

The actress alleged that five people, in collusion with each other, tried to rape and kill her at Savar Uttara Boat club on Thursday.

In a press conference at her residence in Banani on Sunday night, actress Pori Moni alleged that Nasir U Mahmood, also president of the club, assaulted her physically and mentally.
