Fire breaks out at Rohingya camp in Cox’s Bazar
A fire broke out at a Rohingya camp under Ukhia upazila in Cox’s Bazar district on Friday afternoon.
The fire service and civil defence officials said that the fire broke out at camp-4 at about 4:30pm. The fire was brought under control at about 4:45pm, the officials said.
It gutted a Rohingya learning centre operated by charity organisation Mukti and seven shelters in the Rohingya camp.
Three fire engines doused the fire, said Ukhia fire station officer Emdadul Hoque.
