BGB deployed in Dhaka’s diplomatic zone

The government on Saturday deployed members of Border Guard Bangladesh in the city’s diplomatic zone in Gulshan and Baridhara.
Members of the frontier force will patrol the area alongside police and other law enforcing agencies.
‘BGB members have been deployed for tonight in the diplomatic zone to assist the members of law enforcing agencies,’ said Mohsin Reza, public relations officer of BGB.
The decision to deploy BGB came against the backdrop of the killings two foreigners in the country.
