Speaker meets Indian Lok Shabha speaker

Speaker of the Jatiya Sangsad Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury today called on India’s Lok Shabha speaker Sumitra Mahajan at her office in New Delhi.
During the meeting, they discussed on the National Conference of Lawmakers of India, Commonwealth Parliamentary Association Youth Road Show, the upcoming CPA conference in Bangladesh, an official release said.
Besides, issues like South Asian Speakers’ Conference, role of Lok Shabha and Rajya Shabha in signing the land boundary agreement between Bangladesh and India, establishing good governance also came up in the discussion.
